Hi!

There are 6 big Telecom Co. in China.
The largests are China Telecom and China Mobile.
ZTE is now invested in Myanmar Communication fields.
VOIP = Voice Over Internet Protocol ??
There are some VOIP services (like Skype of Luxemburg) in China.
They sell the pre-paid cards.
But I have not bought anyone because my internet connection is Campus LAN and so I cannot use VOIP service as our campus ban it.
Here in China, whatever Telecom telephone services or VOIP services, calling to Myanmar is more expensive than calling to other countries. And the calling price rate is a little bit cheaper than ordinary telecom telephone cards.
But I always use ordinary telephone cards (prepaid) as it is more convenient for me.
Is this what you want to know or not? That is all I know about VOIP in China. If you want to know more details, please visit the following links.

They are Chinese sites. Are you OK? Do you have Chinese fonts and keyboard input installed? If not, go to

Hi Htut Kyi

It is impossible to use VOIP to Myanmar. There is no VOIP service company in Myanmar. To get a VOIP call from abroad, voip company need to co-operate with MPT. But i think, gov doesn't want our people will have good communication.
Bagan Cybertech gives VOIP service in myanmar, but only local routing. VOIP services like skype and gtalk are also banned.
So, we have waste our money when we want to call to Myanmar.

Hay, Kyaw Myat Thu

I was aware of that VoIP is impossible in mm. My curousity is how the phone cards route channels into burma. I will explain a little bit. I believe all phone cards (prepaid) today use VoIP in some way. Since VoIP is not availabe in all countries (like our poor country mm) they route the communication line to the cheapest (closest) destination . Let's say India ( I don't know india is the cheapest to make a call to mm). For example , calling from Aus to MM may involve VoIP rounte from Aus to China and PSTN route from China to MM. Now, that's the thing I want to know. Which route do they use to enter MM ? VoIP is just part of link.

By the way, how is your every thing ? Yan Nain Aye has retired from Bachelor Smile . How about u ?
