| Sorry Bo Bo yay,
I was so busy in these days. So i submit this title lately. Let's discuss Wireless sensors localization here!
Localization of sources emitted Acoustic, Ultrasonic and Electromagnetic waves can be used by radio interferometer method.
==> To localizate the sources ==>first defined the phase diffferences of different frequencies of same signal arrival at the two antenna by using FFT ==>depending on the phases different and base line(distance between) two antenna, the angles of arriving direction will vary from the normal. Thus, we can get the arrival angle by phase resolved method.
==> By arriving time anterval, we can get the location(distant) from wave speed. It's radio interferometermethod.

kslwin hi a kslwin...me too.. quite so busy with wimax PHY stuff.... cant get enough exact external clock for logic synthesizer....struggling along with it these days.... well in ur localization scheme, the target is fixed and passive one which cant provide timely information... for my sensor network case... we formerly used signal strength (link budget) to determine the distance... and used directional antenna to position the angle..... i dont think we can use these signal strength method in ur case... cos we need to know the signal strength which was transmitted from the target and the one which was received at the observer...depending on this data and propagation parameters coupled from different targets, we calculate the distance.... hi i edited my post... cos i was so sleepy last night and didnt know what i wrote down.... he he

kslwin i am thinking something for using FFT in information extraction in ur project.... i agree Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) algorithm based estimation is good in estimating frequency content in predetermined frequency samples, offering a greatly increased calculation speed and efficiency, but it will sacrifice spectral resolution and signal de-noising. i dont think they can be ignored in real world deployment.... what's abt going through some non-stationary processing methods such as 1. autoregressive (AR) modeling 2. wavelet | |
