ha ha ur topic too broad... u should more emphasize on one... k..cos u are now doing over power amplifier....let's discuss abt RF... RF chanllenges for wimax............how's that....?

let's focus on .16e PHY standards...and regard it a basic set of requirements.....

according to my knowledge..
the challenges of RFIC would be

1. various small channel bandwidth
that leads to implement complicated synthesizer due to the smaller step size. the filer also will need adjacent channel compromise methods....

2. RF architecture for TDD and FDD context...
though TDD has cost advantage... FDD still win in data application....

3. OFDMA
ofdma provide subchannelization...quite good for data thoughput and error recovery... but still hold challenges for interference and noise bet subchannel...

4. MIMO & smart antenna, bean forming, space diversity....
link margin gain especially in multipath... bean forming only works well in TDD....

5. cost and performance of synthesizer, power amplifier and filter....
three main ares of expense in RF....

6. License band operation...
quite a large nums of restrictions for RFIC design...( like our forums.... he he)

others...................?

I mention discussing about the 3G, 4G, WiMAX, WiBRO. I am sure, I didn't said about the analysis of that technologies. I haven't said, I will discuss about the detail of the technologies, methods of the RF techniques.

I think, the one who is not from communication will not be interested in the detail techniques, the difficulties we are facing and how they operate inside. I will discuss about what the history, what is the way and intend to get some general information about that area.

The things what u said are not idea of me.

Discussing form forum will be not very effectived.

If any one want to discuss more can contact to who he/she want.

I think forum is not a lecture . Just overview!

Do u think all will know what is different between 3G and 4G, RF and Microwave, the meaning of WiMAX!

They are not from comm: area.

If all want to discuss about detail, that is very good.

Thanks for your suggestion....
