According to discussion with Ko kyaw Naing Oo, Ko Yan Naing Aye, Ko Kslwin,I am going to open a topic for file exchange and request. I believe this will be first step of our e library and MIT library in Burma.

When I uploaded 6 MB file on mandalaymit.freewebspace.com,
I got this error.

There was an error uploading a file.

* /electronic/Microsoft Windows XP Registry Guide Book.pdf (exceeded quota or max file size)

Pls help.

PS:I uploaded under IT folder first,then I got this error. So I try to upload another empty folder, electronics. I got this error again.

Please advise

I cannot access the above file storage sharing sites.
May be I am behind firewall because I can use internet in campus LAN.
I thank you all who contribute and share tech ref files with each other!
I think the one who shares files gets a lot of happiness because of his helps to others although he might have taken his time to upload for sharing!
On the other hand, the one who gets the shared file will be very happy as he/she needs it and now he/she got it!
I also want to construct our private MIT elibrary by collecting some files from every members, and then place those files to a proper place.
The former constructions of Elibrary are good! but I cannot access that, and may be there are some others who cannot access.
So, I like to propose that
1. to construct a proper unique virtual storage elibrary for us.
2. the upload/ download and accessing should be simple and convenient for all.
3. the upload/ download time should be fast.
4. charge for construction should be considered

I also like to propose that:
I have searched some FOC storage for the construction of our elibrary.
According to my observation, I found that
1. Although Googlepages.com has very little storage (100MB), it's accessing (upload/download) is very simple and fairly fast!
and if 100MB storage is full, another one like mit-elibrary-1, mit-elibrary-2,... can be constructed easily with a single gmail account (like mitelibrary.gmail.com).
2. Another site is www.drivehq.com. everyone can access with a common user account ( I think at the same time also OK). Its storage is 1GB and its monthly data transfer allowance is also 1GB. So it has some limitations. But its upload/ download speed is so fast.
3. The next one is www.mediamax.com. It is also for use with one common user account. It allows 25 GB of storage, but it allows 1GB of download for one month. Its speed is not so fast as www.drivehq.com.
4. The last one is www.mydatabus.com. It is also for use with one common user account. It gives 5GB of free storage, and download is not limited. Its upload/download speed is also fairly fast!
So, I like to consult with you (members), which one is the most suitable fro us.
If none is suitable, please discuss your idea!

3. the uploaded files can be arranged by admin team inorder of users convenient access.
4. though it is only 100MB, the storage can be extended by constructing some more.
But constructing like that may be complex.

II. www.mydatabus.com

for
1. it is simple.
2.upload/download speed is fairly fast.
3. files can be arranged.
4. its storage is 5GB.
But there will be some more steps for convenient use.
Like this:
Our MIT main elibrary is constructed, and every member must have a mydatabus.com account respectively.
After that, every member can access main MIT library as main MIT lib and all members' account will be constructed as a unique group.
Like that, not only admins but also every member can upload files to main MIT elibrary.
Download is also easy.
But it has some more pre steps.

How about your ideas???
